About device 5.1 hard decoding

To achieve a true 5.1 surround effect, the following three points are indispensable:

1. Film source: there are downloaded movies and music files in DTS Dolby AC-3 format. 5.1 game consoles online 5.1 movie music channel.
2. Playback equipment: Sony PS2, PS3, PS4, Microsoft XBOX360 XBOX ONE with optical output, DVD and Blu-ray player with HDMI, optical, coaxial (S/PDF) output, hard disk player, computer, TV, set-top box, TV box, projector, etc.

3. Speaker or power amplifier equipment: 5.1 active speaker with 5.1 power amplifier with 5.1 analog lotus port 3.5MM input. Or it can be assembled into an independent 6-channel 5.1 power amplifier.

Player source code settings:

The audio source device of the player must be set to “source code” (each manufacturer has different representation methods, with source code SPD|F digital, bitstream, transparent transmission, automatic, RAW, etc.) input; decode the decoder and separate 6 channels Output through the 5.1 lotus port.

Introduction:

The infrared customized remote control can be used for interconnecting with DVD players, Blu-ray players, network players, set-top boxes, PS2, PS3, Xbox360, PC, home theater, cars and many other entertainment devices.

Features

7. Automatically detect and recognize the format of the input digital audio signal. If the audio source is 5.1CH, it will be hard decoded (true 5.1), if the source is 2.0/2.1CH, it will be soft decoded (virtual 5.1).

8. It supports two output modes of 2.0 and 5.1 channels, and it is FL/FR output in 2.0ch mode.

9. Support the knob button or infrared remote control to switch the input source, the LCD screen displays the selected channel.

10. Support knob or remote control to adjust the volume, with 100-level fine adjustment.

11. With USB playback and channel selection power-off memory function, that is to remember the playback state before power-off

12. USB playback has previous/next, single loop/all loop, pause/play and other operations.

13. Support the Bluetooth receiver of version 5.0, the receiving distance can reach more than 15 meters, the connection is fast and stable

14. Use DC 12V/1A external power adapter for power supply, wide voltage can use DC (5-19V) power supply.

 

 

Equipment connection debugging:
1. Install and tighten the Bluetooth antenna. Connect the 12V/1A power adapter (please check the power specifications, do not use non-standard power supplies) to the HD915 decoder DC power input port, and then plug the adapter into the indoor power outlet.

2. Connect the 5.1 or 2.0 audio (FL/FR) outlet of the HD915 decoder to the 5.1 or 2.0 power amplifier or INPUT of the speaker through the Lotus RCA cable. Switch the power amplifier to the corresponding 5.1 channel DTS or AC-3 input or AUX (please refer to the text next to the interface of the machine for specific mode selection and connection).

FL- left front, FR- right front, SL- left surround, SR- Right surround, CE- Middle, SW- Bass

3. All signal cables are connected, and then power on the HD915. It is normal for the screen to be snowflake during startup initialization.

4. Bluetooth input mode: Switch to Bluetooth mode (display: Bluetooth 5.0) by pressing the machine button or remote control switch button, turn on the mobile phone Bluetooth search device, click the Bluetooth name (HD915) to pair, the connection is displayed successfully, turn on the mobile phone music player to play music.

Unpaired: Delete all connected Bluetooth device records from your phone or tablet. Reconnect the device after the phone or tablet is restarted to restore the device’s Bluetooth driver.

5. It is strongly recommended to debug and connect the speaker through Bluetooth mode to ensure that the power amplifier or speaker is properly connected to the HD915 decoder and make sound. If any exception occurs, please refer to the video and connect the speaker FL or FR to the decoder output 6 ports one by one. Check that decoder output is normal before switching to another mode.

6, HDMI input mode, HD915 has three HDMI input, through the HDMI cable will be the player’s HDMI output and HDMI1 or HDMI2 or HDMI3 input connection, HD915’s HDMI OUT output connected to HDMI display, TV, projection and other devices display images, Switch the HD915 to the corresponding HDMI input mode.

7. In fiber, COAXIAL and AUX INPUT mode, connect the player or TV’s fiber, AUX outlet to the OPTICAL INPUT or AUX input of HD915 via the fiber audio cable or 75-euro coaxial audio cable or 3.5 audio cable coaxial or COAXIAL INPUT coaxial. Set the audio output of your player or TV to fiber or coaxial or AUX output, and switch the HD915 to fiber or coaxial or AUX input.

8, HDMI(ARC) audio transmission function, please use 19+1 core HDMI standard audio cable, HDMI ARC interface of the TV and HDMI OUT(ARC) interface of HD915 connection, the audio output of the TV to HDMI ARC output, The HD915 switches to the HDMI ARC input (ARC).

9. For USB flash drive playback, please format the USB flash drive or check whether the USB flash drive is 16bit FAT32 format and copy the audio file to the USB flash drive. Insert it into the USB port of the decoder and play it. Switch the USB input mode of HD915

10, PC-USB computer sound card, please switch the HD915 decoder to PC-USB input, use the USBA-USB B square cable to connect the computer USB and the decoder PC-USB interface connection, you can normally install the computer sound card driver. Note:

U disks were originally in MBR format. Now for the one-click installation system, some U disks are changed to GPT by default (the partition table format is GUI format). When the decoder device does not recognize the GUI format U disk, we need to convert the format For MBR format, the conversion method is as follows (as shown in the picture)

1. DiskGenius is a super hard disk partitioning tool, which can switch the U disk back to MBR format. Download to local installation:

(Please refer to the original official website instructions carefully to avoid damage to the U disk).

2. After the U disk is connected to the computer for identification, copy the files in the U disk to the computer’s local hard disk for backup.

3. Refer to the picture to format the U disk in MBR format, select a partition, FTA32 format.

4. After format conversion. Just copy the audio file into the U disk.

Note: The U disk is not recognized? The USB flash drive partition table can be changed to mbr

The original USB flash disk is in MBR format, but now for use in one-button startup installation system, part of the USB flash disk is changed to default GPT(GUI format in partition form). When the decoder device does not recognize GUI format of the USB flash disk, we need to convert the format to MBR format, and the conversion method is as follows (as shown in the figure).

2. After the USB flash drive is connected to the computer, the files in the USB flash drive are copied to the computer’s local hard drive for backup.

3, the reference picture will format the U disk to MBR format, select a partition, FTA32 format.

4. After format conversion. Just copy the audio file to a USB flash drive.

Troubleshooting and troubleshooting methods:

Before powering on, check the connection line carefully and ensure that all interfaces are properly connected.

Common troubleshooting methods are as follows:

Fault causes and solutions

1 No power

1. Check whether the power plug is fully inserted

2. Please check whether the POWER button of the power switch is on

2 No Sound

1. Check whether the input signal source is on and properly connected

2. Check whether the signal source channel selection corresponds to the cable interface

3. Check whether the corresponding indicator blinks. Blinking indicates no signal input

4. Confirm whether the input audio signal format is supported by the product

5. Make sure that the power amplifier has been started and correctly connected to the machine

6. Confirm the volume Settings of decoder and power amplifier and whether it has been muted

7. Whether the sound of the signal source device is set as the corresponding output signal

3 Noise or sound is abnormal

1. Confirm whether the input audio signal format is supported by the product

2. Check whether the decoder analog output and power amplifier output are connected correctly

3, confirm that the connection line is intact and reliable connection, do not put the device on metal objects.

4, unplug all the input lines, only retain the audio output line connected to the speaker or headset, Bluetooth or U disk to play the audio source test, such as noise disappeared, and then access the input device in turn, when a device to a noise that check the problem of the equipment, this situation is mostly caused by equipment leakage electrostatic.

4 does not have 5.1 surround effect

1. Check whether the sound source is 5.1 format or DTS/AC3 format

2. Check whether the sound Settings of the playback device are source output or RAW external decode output

3. If the TV is connected to ARC or fiber coaxial, please set the TV output to RAW data or source code output

5 Unable to Operate

1. The button cannot be operated: please re-energize and try again

2, the remote control can not operate: within 10M barrier-free operation, check whether the remote control battery is installed or inverted, battery power is used up (please replace the battery)

3. Press the remote control button. If the remote control head flashes, it indicates that the remote control works

6 Bluetooth wireless pairing
• Make sure the product is in pairing mode

• Ensure that the product is within range of the matching device (contact the phone first when it is near the device)

• Delete all connected Bluetooth device records from your phone or tablet. Reconnect the device after the phone or tablet is restarted to restore the device’s Bluetooth driver.

• When the distance is too short or the connection fails to be interrupted, please check whether there is too much interference from 2.4G wireless devices around the environment (such as WiFi signal, wireless mouse, other Bluetooth devices, etc.).

• Please do not place the device on metal objects. When the signal is interfered or blocked, it may also cause the phenomenon of sound interruption/stutter
