HD371 eARC/ARC Audio Converter Manual

The HD371 eARC/ARC audio repeater can transmit TV audio with specific eARC/ARC functions to receiving devices such as optical fiber, coaxial, 3.5mm audio or HDMI Audio Only amplifiers, active speakers, and wired headphones through an HDMI cable. It perfectly transmits the sound of the TV back to the sound system. Let the audio system replace the TV speakers and output the four output ports simultaneously.

Connection and operation:

1. For eARC/ARC audio return, connect the eARC IN port of the HD371 to the HDMI eARC/ARC port of the audio source device such as a TV through an HDMI cable (19-pin + 1 for HDMI cable) (Note: Please connect the /ARC” marked HDMI interface!), set the audio output mode of the TV and other devices to eARC/ARC output. Please use standard HDMI 19+1 core cable.

2. Connect the HD371 audio output to the power amplifier or active speakers or wired headphones through optical fiber, coaxial, HDMI Audio Only or 3.5mm audio cable.

Note: 3.5mm only supports PCM/LPCM audio and requires four simultaneous outputs. Please set HDMI eARC/ARC audio output format to TV to PCM/LPCM.

3. Connect the USB power cable to the DC 5V interface of the device (select a charger with an output voltage of 5V 1A (be sure not to use a variable voltage fast charge)).

4. Turn the adapter switch to the ON position.

Common fault diagnosis and treatment

Method: Before applying power, double check that the cables are intact You must ensure that all connectors are properly connected.

Common fault judgment and processing are as follows:

1. No electricity

A: Is the power indicator light on? If off, the power supply or power cable is properly connected to the power connector

B: Whether the power supply is DC 5V; whether the current reaches 500mA.

2. No sound

A: Does the TV support eARC/ARC function?

B: Is the adapter turned on.

C: Whether the HDMI cable is connected to the TV that supports the HDMI eARC/ARC interface

D: Whether the TV is on HDMI eARC/ARC audio output (use the TV’s remote control to turn it on).

3. There is noise or abnormality in the headphone jack.

A: Set the TV to stereo output (PCM/LPCM 2 channel output).

4. Coaxial fiber non-5.1 audio output

A: Check if the TV is currently playing 5.1 channel audio.

B: Set the TV’s optical port as source output. (Different brands of TVs display it differently. For example, Sony TVs are: “Output Unaltered Compressed Audio” or “Optical for multi-channel content setup optically connect the TV’s optical port to the source output. (Different brands of TVs display different Way. For example, Sony TV is: “Output unchanged compressed audio” or “For multi-channel content.

5. Only HDMI Audio Only audio, no 7.1 audio output

A: Check if the TV is currently playing 7.1 channel audio.

B: Set the TV to source code output.
