Remote Control

Note: Before using the remote control, please remove the insulating plastic film at the end of the remote control panel.

When the remote control is not used for a long time, please insert the insulating plastic film into the tail of the remote control panel.

The button functions in the Audio area of the remote control panel are only applicable to models with audio (HD378)

Precautions for use:

2.1 Please use a standard HDMI2.1 cable that meets the requirements, and connect the device before powering on.

2.2 Please connect the 8K TV to the OUTB interface first. OUTA can output 8K@60 or 4K@120 resolution only in distribution mode (in distribution mode, OUTA and OUTB select the same input source). The maximum output resolution in other modes is 8K@30 or 4K@60.

2.3 The product has a power-off memory function, the setting status of the selected channel and function will be saved, and the saved data will be automatically retrieved for configuration next time after power-off.

2.4 The AUDIO OUT port is a group of multiplexing ports, and the audio content of OUTA or OUTB can be selected to be output by pressing the “A-B” key.

2.5 audio EDID mode selection also has multiplexing function. When the AUDIO OUT audio source is selected as the A channel, the audio EDID mode is valid for the A channel; when the B channel is selected, the audio EDID mode is valid for the B channel.

2.6 Analog audio can only be output when the audio format is LPCM, so when using analog audio output, it is recommended to select the EDID mode as 2CH mode.

2.7 If you need to use ARC or CEC function, you must connect the TV to the OUTB port. When using the ARC function, the HDMI input port of the TV must support and the ARC function has been turned on.

2.8 “Simple Downscaler” function description:

This product supports converting 4K (24/25/30/48/50/60/100/120 Hz) to 1080P, or 8K (24/25/30Hz) to 4K/1080P at the same frame rate.

For example, when using a 4K signal source input, the two output ports are respectively connected to a 4K TV and a full HD TV, the Downscaler function allows one port to output a 4K signal, and the other port automatically reduces the resolution to 1080P output. This function has been enabled by default on the two output ports.

connect:

1. Connect the HDMI high-definition output such as DVD/STB/Blu-ray player to the HDMI IN port of the splitter through an HDMI cable. Please use a standard HDMI2.1 cable.

2. Connect the HDMI OUT port of the splitter to the HDMI input port of the TV monitor via an HDMI cable. Please use a standard HDMI2.1 cable.

ARC audio return connects the OUT (ARC) interface of HD378 to the HDMI ARC interface of the TV and other audio source equipment through the HDMI cable (standard HDMI2.1 cable) (Note: Please connect to the HDMI interface marked with “ARC”!), Set the audio output mode of the TV, etc. to ARC output. Please use a standard HDMI2.1 cable.

3. When using digital audio, connect the SPDIF OUT port of the splitter to the optical input port of the power amplifier through an optical fiber cable

4. When using analog audio, connect the R/L OUT port to the analog audio input port of the power amplifier through a lotus audio cable.

5. Connect the DC head of the power adapter to the DC5V port of the splitter, and then insert the adapter plug into the power socket. (Choose a charger with an output voltage of 5V 1A (be sure not to use fast charging with variable voltage)).

Flexible switching output:

2.0CH: In this mode, the priority is to output stereo audio output (the audio source needs to be switched to PCM) and support up to 24bit/192Khz audio sampling rate decoding.

5.1CH: Support optical fiber 5.1 digital surround audio (DTS, Dolby, AC3) and other source code output; analog output interface] No output at this time.

PASS: Audio EDID pass-through mode. The audio output format in this mode depends on the audio processing capability of the device connected to the output end.

Common fault diagnosis and treatment methods:

Before powering on, carefully check whether the connecting wires are normal, and make sure that all interfaces are connected correctly.

Common fault diagnosis and treatment methods are as follows:

Symptom Cause and Solution

1 Without power

1. Check whether the power plug is inserted safely

2. Check whether the power button has entered the power standby state

2 No sound, abnormal sound

1. Check whether each channel and interface are connected correctly and reliably

2. Check whether the input audio signal format is a format supported by the product

3. Check whether the setting of the audio EDID mode switch is appropriate

4. Check whether the volume setting of the power amplifier/TV is muted

3 No image, abnormal screen

1. Check whether the input signal source is correctly connected to the display device and is in the power-on state

2. Check whether the output resolution of the signal source is greater than the resolution supported by the display device

3. The EDID information of the device is read incorrectly, it is recommended to power off and restart

4. Check the specifications and quality of the wire (HDMI wire is required to comply with the HDMI2.1 standard)
