Capture card function introduction: Through the HDMI cable access to the capture card input interface, a device (game console, mobile phone, camera and other can output video picture and sound equipment) input into the capture card. Then through the USB interface of the capture card, and then output to the computer or mobile phone. The computer side receives the video and audio output from the capture card through the video capture software such as OBS from the USB interface. And then broadcast it or push it out to live streaming platforms. Some capture cards also have a video output directly through the HDMI interface to a display device, such as a monitor and TV. This is called a loop.

Connection and operation:

Hardware requirements:

Desktop: Intel Core i5-3400+NVIDIA GT630 or above Laptop: Intel Core i7-U 2.0GHz+NVIDIA GT735 or above

Connections:

1. Connect the HDMI OUTPUT outlet such as the set-top box to the HDMI INPUT port of the VG350/300/400 through the HDMI cable (19-core +1 HDMI cable), and connect the HDMI output outlet of the VG350/300/400 to the display terminal such as the TV set through the HDMI cable.

2. Connect the VG350/300/400 to the PC, 3.5MM microphone input, and headset (VG350 only) 3.5MM audio output wired headphones or active speakers. (Note: Please connect the USB cable directly to the USB port of the computer motherboard, do not transfer through the USB HUB.)

3, open the computer OBS or Potplayer software, refer to the following Settings or Baidu search for specific tutorials.

The Settings may vary depending on the card or computer version.

Special note: If obs shows “Abnormal video format, please press the reset button”, uncheck the DHCP option in the system Settings on ps4.

Product use precautions:

1. Please use correctly and maintain properly to ensure product performance and normal operation.
2. Keep away from humid, high temperature, dusty, corrosive and oxidizing gas environment to avoid damage.
3. All parts should avoid strong vibration, not collision, knock, fall, so as to avoid damage.
4. Do not open the cover and do not touch any device in the machine.
5. Do not use a HUB or USB expansion cable. It must be connected to the USB 3.0 interface of the computer for use.
6. A low computer configuration will cause the recording screen to flash randomly or black. This is a normal occurrence when the recording screen and the original screen are out of sync. Please try using our original USB3.0 cable of the same length and process. Signal input cables and HDMI loop cables shall not exceed 3m. To ensure the stability of the signal. Carefully check whether the connection cable is normal, and ensure that all interfaces are properly connected.
7. No image/blur: confirm that the TV is turned on and connected to the machine, whether the input signal source is turned on and connected in good condition, check whether the connection cable is intact, the quality of the cable (HDMI cable requirements meet the HDMI standard), and reconnect the connection port to prevent poor contact of the socket interface.
8. If there is no sound in the collection, select the audio channel in the Computer Sound TAB.
9. If there is no recording, set the Advanced Properties bar of OBS to Listen and Output.
