HD371PRO eARC/ARC Audio Converter Use Manual

HD371PRO can upgrade the power player or bar speaker that does not support eARC function to be able to connect with the TV that supports eARC function, so that it can obtain high-definition audio through the eARC channel of the TV. Audio signals from EARC-enabled televisions can also be connected to power players or headphones through the product’s fiber optic and analog stereo interfaces. The eARC audio converter is also compatible with ARC enabled televisions;

 

Connection instructions:
1. Use an HDMI cable to connect the eARC IN port of the converter to the HDMI/eARC port of the TV. Please make standard HDMI2.1 cable.
   Note: Please connect to the HDMI port marked “eARC” on the TV!

2. Connect the HDMI, optical fiber, and RCA ports of the converter to the corresponding ports of the power amplifier through HDMI cables, optical fiber cables, and RCA cables according to your requirements

3. You can also connect the headphone to the 3.5mm connector of the converter.

4. Connect the converter to the power adapter with the USB power supply cable, and then plug the adapter into the power socket.

Select a 5V 1A charger with output voltage (be sure not to use a variable voltage fast charge)

5. Switch the power switch of the converter to ON .

Tip:   Use the machine according to the instructions listed to extend its service life
1. Do not expose the device to damp, high temperature, dusty environment, corrosion or oxidation environment.

2. All components will not be subjected to strong vibration, impact and fall.

3. Do not touch the power adapter plug with wet hands.

4. Hold the plug when unplugging. Do not pull the power cord.

5. Turn off the device if it is not used for a long time.

6. Please do not open the lid and do not touch the internal parts.

7. Please use the original power cord and select a 5V 1A charger with output voltage (be sure not to use a variable voltage fast charge).

Common fault diagnosis and handling
Method: Before powering on, Please  check  the cable is intact You must make sure that all connectors are properly connected.

Common faults are identified and handled as follows:

1.No power

A: Check whether the power indicator is on. If off, the power supply or power cable is properly connected to the power connector
B: Whether the power supply is DC 5V; Whether the current reaches 1000mA.
If the indicators of 2.0, 5.1, HD5.1, and HD7.1 are off, check whether the converter is ON.

2. No sound
A: Check the TV  is supports eARC/ARC
B: Check  the adapter is turned on.
C: Whether the HDMI cable is standard HDMI2.1 and whether it is connected to the TV to support the HDMI eARC/ARC interface
D: Whether the TV has HDMI eARC/ARC audio output (turn it on using the TV’s remote control).

3. The headphone jack /RCA is noisy or abnormal.
A: The RCA and 3.5mm ports are correctly connected to the power amplifier.
B: Check whether the power amplifier is set correctly
C: Check whether 5.1, HD5.1/HD7.1 indicators are on. If 5.1, HD5.1/HD7.1 indicators are on, please set the TV to PCM output

4. fiber non-5.1 audio output
A: Check whether the TV is currently playing 5.1 channel audio.
1. Check whether the optical fiber port is correctly connected to the power amplifier.
2. Check whether the power amplifier is correctly set.
3. Check whether the HD7.1 indicator light is on. If the HD7.1 indicator light is on, set the TV to 5.1 output
B: Set the fiber port of the TV to the source code output (see video below).

5. Can not control the volume through the TV remote control
CEC does not guarantee 100% compatibility, because although all are labeled CEC, protocol compatibility between different brands of devices is difficult to guarantee 100%.
A: Only the RCA interface and 3.5mm interface can control the volume through the TV remote control, and the optical fiber interface and HDMI interface cannot control the volume through the TV remote control.
B: When using the TV remote control to the TV operation, the TV remote control to the converter operation is invalid

6.HDMI Audio Only audio 7.1 audio output
A: Check if the TV is currently playing 7.1 channel audio.
1. Check whether the HDMI port is correctly connected to the power amplifier.
2. Check whether the power amplifier is correctly set.
3. Check whether the HD7.1 indicator light is on, if the HD7.1 indicator light is not on, please set the TV to 7.1 output.
B: Set the TV to source output.

When the fiber coaxial 5.1 or HDMI AUDOI 7.1 output, the player audio source device must be set to “source code” (each manufacturer has different ways of expression, source code SPDIF digital, bit stream, transparent transmission, automatic,RAW, etc.), the output source code to HD371 can be separated into source code 5.1/7.1 output.
