EP636 On-Ear Bluetooth Headset Manual

1. Switch on and off

Power on: Press and hold the MFB button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep. The red LED indicator flashes intermittently after power on.

Power off: Press and hold the MFB button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep. The LED indicator flashes and then goes out.

2. Bluetooth connection

Long press the MFB button for 5 seconds to enter the pairing state, the LED light flashes red and blue alternately and you can hear two beeps.

 

－Pair with mobile phone

1) Search for available Bluetooth devices on the phone (please check the phone’s instruction manual if necessary).

2) Select EP636 from the available devices and confirm the connection.

3) After the pairing is successful, the LED light flashes blue.

4) Start multi-point connection to connect two mobile phones at the same time.

When the headset enters the pairing state, short press the MFB button once to start the multipoint connection. Connect the first mobile phone according to the above steps. After the connection is successful, restart the headset to enter the pairing state, connect the second mobile phone, and then click Back Connect in the connected Bluetooth devices of the first mobile phone to complete the multi-point connection. When switching between two mobile phones, it takes about 10 seconds to switch.

5) Double-click MFB when the headset enters the pairing state to close the multipoint connection.

Connect to the computer

1) Turn on the Bluetooth function of the computer.

2) Select the device and printer in the control panel, and click Add Device.

3) Choose EP636 from the available devices, and the system will install it automatically.

Note: Windows XP and Vista require third-party Bluetooth drivers (not included).

4) The blue LED indicator flashes after the pairing is successful.

5) If EP636 is not automatically set as an audio output device, please select Sound in the control panel and select EP636 as the default setting.

Note: After power on, the EP636 will automatically connect to the last connected device within the connectable range.

 

-NFC

1) Turn on the Bluetooth and NFC functions of the source device.

2) Tap the NFC area on the left side of EP636 with the NFC area of the source device, and the two devices will automatically connect.

3) When prompted, confirm pairing. After successful connection, EP636 will appear in the Bluetooth device list of the source device.

4) When disconnecting, please touch the NFC area on the left side of EP636 again with the NFC area of the source device.

Note: When you connect the device via NFC for the first time, you need to touch it twice, once to turn on and once to pair.

 

3. remote control

When EP636 is connected to a computer or mobile phone, it can realize remote control of music playback.

Press the MFB button to pause/play the music.

Use the “+” / “-” keys to adjust the volume up/down.

Use the “<” / “>” keys to go to the previous/next song.

Long press the “<” / “>” key to fast forward/rewind the song.

Note: Music remote control is only applicable to devices that support A2DP. Please refer to the device manual to confirm whether it supports A2DP.

4, hands-free call

1) After connecting with the mobile phone, EP636 supports hands-free calling.

2) Press the MFB key to answer/end the call.

3) Long press the MFB button for 2 seconds to reject the call.

4) Double-click the MFB button during a call to switch between hands-free call and mobile phone call.

5) Double-click the MFB button to call back.

 

5, restore factory settings

When the headset is paired, press and hold the MFB button and the “-” button for 5 seconds to restore the factory settings.

 

6. Charging

When the battery is too low, the LED light flashes red.

Please use the attached USB cable to charge the headset. The red light is always on when charging, and the blue light is always on when fully charged.

It is recommended to choose a regular charger with an output voltage of 5V 1A (do not use variable voltage fast charging).

note:

1) Please choose a qualified charger from a regular manufacturer.

2) When using for the first time, please fully charge the headset.

 

7. Common problems

Unable to start

Please charge first

Can’t find Bluetooth headset

Confirm whether the Bluetooth headset is in the pairing state and whether it is less than 10 meters away from the device to be paired

Cannot install Bluetooth headset driver on the computer

Update the Bluetooth driver module on the computer

Intermittent sound in Bluetooth mode

Disable the WIFI of the source device

No sound

Check whether the sound of the earphone and source device is turned up

Incomplete WeChat voice messages

Just set WeChat voice playback to earpiece playback. Setting method Long press the voice message and the setting bar will appear. Modify the setting to earpiece playback.
