About Device 5.1 Hard decode

To achieve a true 5.1 surround effect, the following three things must required:
1. Film source: There are downloaded DTS Dolby AC-3 format movies, music files. 5.1 game console online 5.1 movie music channel.
2. Playback equipment: SONY PS2,PS3,PS4, Microsoft XBOX360 XBOX ONE game console with HDMI, optical fiber, coaxial (S/PDF) output DVD Blu-ray player, hard disk player, computer, TV, set-top box, TV box, projector, etc.
3. Speaker or power amplifier equipment: 5.1 power amplifier 5.1 active speaker with 5.1 analog lotus port 3.5MM port input. Or a 5.1 amplifier that can be put together as a separate 6-channel speaker.

Player source Settings:
Player audio source equipment must be set to “source” (each manufacturer has different ways of expression, source SPDIF digital, bit stream, transparent transmission, automatic,RAW, etc.) input; Decoded to the decoder, separated 6 channels through 5.1 lotus port output.

A brief description:
DA615 5.1 Audio decoder supports decoding DTS, AC3, LPCM and other digital audio format source code; Support U disk to play DTS, AC3, WAV, FLAC, APE, MP3 and other lossless high-quality audio playback; Support ARC audio return or PCUSB external sound card, fiber optic and coaxial input decoding; Support Bluetooth 5.0 wireless transmission; Compatible with most power amplifiers or active audio equipment on the market. The front panel LED light can display the working status and debugging interface of the product.

  1, support PC-USB sound card INPUT (DA615U) or HDMIARC (DA615H), support digital fiber input, digital coaxial input, Bluetooth 5.0 input,U disk playback, different signal sources can be switched between the input key cycle selection.
• 2, Support a set of 5.1ch output, output for 3 3.5mm audio interfaces.
  3, Support FLAC, APE, DTS, DTS-ES, AC3, WAV, HDCD, AAC, WMV, MP3, M4A and other digital audio format decoding.

  6, automatically detect the input digital audio signal format, if the sound source is DTS/AC3 source code, hard decoding (true 5.1 effect), if the sound source is PCM stereo, soft decoding (virtual 5.1 effect).
  7, support key switch 2.0 and 5.1 channel two output modes, 2.0 mode that is FL/FR output.
  8, support the key (long press) to adjust the volume.
  9. Support USB to play the previous song/next song cutting operation.
  10, with USB playback and channel selection power off memory function, that is, remember the state before the power off.
  11, standard DC 5V/1A external power adapter power supply.

Equipment connection and commissioning:
1. Install and tighten the Bluetooth antenna, connect the 5.1 audio output outlet of the DA615 decoder to the power amplifier or the input interface of 5.1 speaker through three 3.5mm RCA lines, and switch the power amplifier to the corresponding 5.1 channel input or AC-3 input (please refer to the text next to the interface of the machine for specific mode selection and connection).

FL- left front, FR- right front, SL- left surround, SR- Right surround, CE- Middle, SW- Heavy bass,

 

 

8. When using the PC-USB function, you need to install the provided USB driver, and set the USB sound card and player to achieve the true 5.1 effect by source code output

9. When using Bluetooth, because Bluetooth wireless technology can only transmit 2.0 stereo, it can only virtual 5.1 effects, and 5.1 channel separation cannot be achieved

10. The Bluetooth device name of this device is “DA615”, please install the Bluetooth antenna by yourself before use

11. The optical fiber cable needs to be unplugged before it can be inserted into the optical fiber holder. Pay attention to the direction and do not insert hard

12. When the TV or projection is connected to the decoder via optical fiber or coaxial, the TV or projection needs to be set to “external speaker” (or digital output, or “SPDIF” output), and also to source code (or RAW, or pass-through) Output.

2. Connect the 5V/1A power adapter (please check the power specifications, do not use non-standard power supply at will) to the DC input terminal of the DA615 decoder power supply, and then plug the adapter into the indoor power outlet. Power about 10 seconds or so will light up the blue indicator to start normally, and then do the button operation selection.

3, Switch DA615 to Bluetooth mode (in Bluetooth mode, PC-USB/OPT1/HDMIARC, OPT, COX three indicators are off),5.1 output mode 5.1CH indicator light blue light, open the phone Bluetooth search device, click the Bluetooth name (DA615) pairing, the connection is successful, Turn on your phone’s music player and tap music.

Unpaired: Deletes all connected Bluetooth device records from your phone or tablet device. Restart the phone or tablet to restore the Bluetooth driver of the device and reconnect the device.

4,  Strongly recommended to debug and connect the speaker through Bluetooth mode to ensure that the power amplifier or speaker is correctly connected to the DA615 decoder and make sound. If there is an exception, please refer to the video and connect the speaker FL or FR one by one to the corresponding port of the decoder output. Check that the decoder output is normal before switching to another mode.

5, Optical or coaxial input mode, the optical or coaxial output of the player or TV is connected to the Optical (OPT) or coaxial (COX) input of the DA615 through the Optical audio cable or 75 euro coaxial audio cable. Set the TV’s audio output to Optical or coax source output, and switch the DA615 to Optical (OPT on) or coax (COX on) input.

7, HDMI(ARC) audio return function (only DA615H support), please use 19+1 core HDMI standard audio cable, the TV projector HDMI ARC interface and DA615 HDMI ARC interface connection, the TV audio output to ARC source output, The DA615H switches to HDMI ARC input (ARC light).

8, USB flash drive playback, please first format the USB flash drive or check whether the USB flash drive is FAT32 format 16bit, the maximum support 64G, copy the audio file to the USB flash drive. The recommended bit rate is 2000kbps or below (normal CD-level sound quality is 1411.2kbps). Plug it into the USB port of the decoder to play, and switch the DA615 to USB input mode. In U disk mode,PC-USB/OPT1/HDMIARC, OPT and COX shine as water lamp cycle

9, PC-USB computer sound card mode (only DA615U support), please switch the DA615U decoder to PC-USB input (PC-USB light), use a USB cable to connect the computer USB and decoder PC-USB connection, you can normally install the computer sound card driver.

Key description:

INPUT key:
Tap to switch the signal source in the following sequence
PC-USB/HDMIARC/OPT1->OPT->COX ->BT->USB
Press and hold (more than 3 seconds) to switch to 51CH/2.0CH Channel Output
5.1ch- indicator is on, 2.0ch- indicator is off.

voL+ button:
Short press: The function of “next song” when the USB flash drive is playing (short press in other modes is invalid).
Long press (more than three seconds) : to increase the volume function (long press in any mode).

voL- button:
Short press: The function of “Previous song” when playing for the ∪ disc (short press for other modes is invalid)
Long press (more than 3 seconds) : for volume reduction function (Long press in any mode)

LED indicator description: (Blue light steady on for mode, blinking for signal input)

• POWER: Red The power supply lights up normally
  PC-USB: Steady blue indicates the PC-USB input mode
  HDMI(ARC): Steady blue indicates the HDMI(ARC) Input mode
  OPT: Steady blue The optical fiber input mode is displayed
  COX: Steady blue indicates the coaxial input mode
  5.1CH: Steady blue: The output mode is 5.1 channels, and off: The output mode is 2.0 channels

Troubleshooting and troubleshooting methods:

Before powering on, you should carefully check whether the connection line is normal, and you must ensure that all interfaces are correctly connected.

Common troubleshooting methods are as follows:

6	Bluetooth wireless pairing	1. Make sure the product is in pairing mode 2. Ensure that the product is within range of the matching device (the phone is connected to the device first) 3. Delete all connected Bluetooth device records from your phone or tablet device. Restart the phone or tablet to restore the Bluetooth driver of the device and reconnect the device. 4. When the distance is too short or the connection is not successful, please check whether there is too much interference from 2.4G wireless devices around the environment (such as WiFi signal, wireless mouse, other Bluetooth devices, etc.). 5. Please do not place the device on metal objects. When the signal is interfered with or blocked, it may also cause sound interruption/stuttering.

Note :U disk is not recognized?  Change the U disk partition table to mbr:
The USB flash drive was originally in MBR format, and now in order to use the one-click start installation system, some of the USB flash drive is changed to the default GPT(partition form is GUI format). When the decoder device does not recognize the GUI format USB flash drive, we need to convert the format to MBR format, and the conversion method is as follows (see Figure).

1. DiskGenius is a super hard disk partitioning tool that can switch U disks back to MBR format. Download to the local installation: (Please refer to the original official website carefully to avoid damage to the USB flash drive). DiskGenius website: https://www.diskgenius.cn/download.php

2. After connecting the U disk to the computer, copy the files in the U disk to the computer’s local hard disk for backup.

3, the reference picture will format the U disk into MBR format, select a partition, FTA32 format.

4, After the format conversion. Copy the audio file to the USB flash drive.
